 L INSTRUCTOR LED COURSE.  If you have an issue finding an instructor to t
 ake care of this please ask us for assistance. \n​\nPre-qualification i
 s scheduled for Friday evening of the weekend course.\n​\nCandidates wi
 ll learn NRA policies and procedures\, basic public speaking skills\, trai
 ning methodology\, use of a training team\, training aids\, course organiz
 ation\, budget considerations\, and how to prepare to instruct an initial 
 basic pistol course to individuals with little or no experience. During th
 e course\, candidates will learn NRA policies and procedures\, basic publi
 c speaking skills\, training methodology\, use of a training team and trai
 ning aids\, organizing a course\, building a budget\, and finally preparin
 g to teach.  Candidates can also expect to learn the NRA discipline spec
 ific instructional methods and evaluating and improving the performance of
  beginning shooters. In addition\, candidates will be provided the approp
 riate lesson plans and basic course student packets. Candidates take turns
  working in teams\, actually conducting portions of the course to other ca
 ndidates who portray basic students. Training Counselors will evaluate can
 didates' performance based on their ability to handle the firearms with co
 nfidence\, use of appropriate training aids\, following the lesson plans a
 nd meeting all learning objectives\, while utilizing the teaching philosop
 hies expected of NRA Certified Instructors.  This course includes signifi
 cant business and marketing strategies if you would like to develop a fire
